This is a unique, hospital employed, opportunity to truly practice medicine! PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care of the Elderly) of the Triad in Greensboro, NC is looking for a physician that wants to work as part of an interdisciplinary team to think of and treat people holistically. Participants in the program have complex needs and the physicians focus is the coordination of care. The ideal candidate will be able to draw on his/her experience in medicine, as well as research new ideas, to not only treat the participants current needs, but also plan for and prevent possible future complications. Additionally, the candidate needs to be detail-oriented and not afraid to brainstorm creative solutions.

We are looking for a BC Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician that would like a full-time staff position, or one who will accept a 0.6 with the understanding that it will gradually increase to a full-time role within 3 to 6 months. The participants that are seen at PACE are 55 years of age or older, are able to live safely in the community, and meet the State of North Carolinas Nursing Home Level of Care criteria.   • BC in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine (geriatrics fellowship preferred)
  • NC medical license
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience, minimum of 1 year working with the frail/elderly population
  • Ability to excel with others in a team environment
  • Detail-oriented.
