Over the past decade, JAMDA has had strong growth in its impact factor (Figure 1). In 2016, it was ranked fourth among all journals in geriatrics and gerontology with an impact factor of 5.775 (Table 1). It also had a 5-year impact factor of 5.449 and an immediacy index of 1.381.
