NEW! PALTC18 Live Stream

Attend select educational sessions from the Society’s 2018 Annual Conference virtually via the PALTC18 Live Stream. Eight sessions will be broadcast live and appeal to various members of the PA/LTC care team, providing an economical and convenient training tool. Live CME, MOC, CMD and CE credits will be offered.

 

The Live Stream will offer an interactive platform that will allow participants to:

     Virtually attend the sessions via a high definition video feed.

     Download slides and resources for each session.

     Submit questions/comments online for speakers to respond to.

     Chat with other Live Stream participants.

     Receive real-time customer technical support.

     Participants can earn 15 continuing education hours from the live program and 97.5 hours from
     the conference recordings.

Credit Information

Physician CME

AMDA – The Society for Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

AMDA – The Society for Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine designates this virtual live activity for a maximum of 15.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Maintenance of Certification (MOC)

Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 15 MOC points and medical knowledge and patient safety credit MOC credit in the American Board of Internal Medicine’s (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit.

CMD Credit Hours

This virtual live activity has been approved for up to 8.0 hours in management education and 7.0 hours in clinical education toward certification/recertification as an ABPLM CMD.

Participants can earn up to up to 15.0 Prescribed credit(s) by the American Academy of Family Physicians. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. AGS

This CME activity is endorsed by the American Geriatrics Society. Credits earned from this activity may be counted toward the AGS Geriatrics Recognition Award.

Maryland Nurses Association (MNA)

Participants can earn up to 15.0 contact hours by the Maryland Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
