DaVita Medical Group is looking for a full-time Lead Hospitalist for the Post-Acute Services Division to join our team in Las Vegas. The clinicians we seek are those who practice medicine with a focus on patient care, not volume. We want our clinicians to take the time needed to truly address the patient’s needs. The Lead Hospitalist is a full-time senior manager and leader who will oversee the care provided by all program hospitalists in the post-acute areas.

The Lead Hospitalist will work closely with the Chief Medical Officer and Manager of post-acute Services to implement and evaluate all services provided by the program. S/He will have direct responsibility for all aspects of patient care in both quality and utilization in the Post-acute setting.

Position Details

•Schedule: Monday through Friday, Full-time hours

•Avg Daily Patient Census: 15/day

•Telephonic Call required


Essential Functions

•Supervise all employed inpatient post-acute physicians

•Coordinate daily clinical operations and oversee scheduling

•Ensure overall medical quality parameters

•Provide post-acute backup coverage at post-acute facilities when need arises
