This session will provide details about new billing codes that have recently been approved by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). Participants will learn the service and documentation requirements for these codes as well as the proper procedure for submitting claims for these services. The session will conclude with a review of some classical billing and coding enigmas that continue to be challenging to many long-term care medicine practitioners, and this review is designed to be able to include topics of concern raised by participants during the session.
