Speaking at a session during the AMDA - The Society for Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine’s annual conference, “Sleeplessness in the Nursing Home,” Ariel Cole, MD, FAAFP, CMD, admitted that she doesn’t always feel completely effective at managing sleep. “My name is on some [pill] bottles; that causes my chagrin,” she said.
