The CY 2023 Physician Fee Schedule Final finalized significant changes to E/M coding, including the nursing facility family of codes. The 2023 revisions to CPT evaluation and management services, including those for nursing facility services and assisted living facility services, will be among the most significant changes to current procedural terminology (CPT) descriptors in decades. To help members better prepare for the 2023 changes to coding and documentation guidance for CPT evaluation and management services in PALTC, the Society has several resources available:
- Educational Tools: The Society’s Guide to Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Coding, Reimbursement, and Documentation has been updated to reflect the 2023 changes. Purchase the guide now.
