A14 - Treating E-Cigarettes as Tobacco Products

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, AMDA—Dedicated to Long-Term Care Medicine support treating e-cigarettes as tobacco products with the subsequent restrictions inherent with all tobacco products within post-acute and long-term care facilities;

AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, AMDA—Dedicated to Long-Term Care Medicine bring a resolution to the American Medical Association House of Delegates meeting supporting the concept that e-cigarettes be considered tobacco products with all of the legal and policy restrictions with smoking in post-acute and long-term care settings.
