THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medical Association (PALTmed) support treating e-cigarettes as tobacco products with the subsequent restrictions inherent with all tobacco products within post-acute and long-term care facilities;
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medical Association (PALTmed) bring a resolution to the American Medical Association House of Delegates meeting supporting the concept that e-cigarettes be considered tobacco products with all of the legal and policy restrictions with smoking in post-acute and long-term care settings.
