BE IT RESOLVED, that AMDA-The Society for Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine expands its efforts regarding care of residents in Assisted Living Communities to include developing a greater knowledge base about Assisted Living residents, with a focus on quality of care, transitions of care, specifics regarding quality measures in this population, and successful models of care for this population within the confines of the new healthcare business environment, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that AMDA explore mechanisms for distributing information regarding Assisted Living medical issues to its membership.
