C13 - Exclusion of Medical Providers in Long-Term Care from Accountable Care Organizations Primary Care Physician Restriction

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that AMDA - Dedicated to Long Term Care Medicine (AMDA) work with the appropriate parties to allow medical providers in long-term care and Medical Directors of nursing facilities to participate in multiple Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs);

AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that AMDA bring a resolution to the American Medical Association House of Delegates Meeting asking the AMA HoD to support action by appropriate parties that would support allowing medical providers in long term care and Medical Directors of nursing facilities to participate in multiple ACOs
