Resolutions
AMDA resolves to open dialogue with HCFA and third-party carriers to promote coverage of standing laboratory tests for which there is a medical necessity, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that AMDA work with HCFA and third-party carriers to make sure current policies regarding standing laboratory tests do not adversely impact the quality or timeliness of medical care of nursing facility residents.
