THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that AMDA-The Society for Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine will work with American Medical Association and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services to remove uncontrolled pain scores from quality metrics that impact reimbursement for services rendered in the nursing facilities and from the five-star rating system for nursing facilities.
